Explore our premium selection of heavy-duty, marine-grade, and corrosion-resistant fasteners engineered to meet demanding structural and mechanical tolerances.
VLC is a leading bolts and screws manufacturer in China. With about 20 years of expertise in fasteners production and technology, we have built a world-class infrastructure that outputs over 10,000 tons of bolts, studs, and screws annually. We specialize heavily in heavy-duty hex bolts, high-tolerance structural bolts, studs, and customized fastener sets designed for structural integrity and longevity under dynamic loads.
Our founding factory leader established the first privately owned fastener operation back in 2006. Since day one, our unwavering mission has been to emerge as our global customers' first choice for premium fasteners manufacturing in China. Over the decades, we have moved beyond simple component supply to offer end-to-end OEM/ODM design engineering, metallurgy validation, and global logistics fulfillment.
By controlling the entire process from structural rod annealing and multi-station cold heading to high-precision threading and surface passivation, VLC ensures that every component shipped delivers maximum yield strength, fatigue resistance, and predictable installation torque coefficients.
Our CNC machining and lathe manufacturing systems operate with micron-level tolerances. From complex thread configurations to custom structural geometries, we utilize the most advanced multi-spindle equipment in the industry.
As heavy industries transition toward automated assembly, smart hardware, and extreme-environment installations, VLC's engineering team is driving R&D across three technological horizons.
Eliminating Hexavalent Chromium (CrVI) is just the baseline. Our engineering laboratory is optimizing multi-layer zinc-nickel and aluminum flake coatings that achieve over 1,500 hours of neutral salt spray testing (ASTM B117) with zero red rust. Our goal is to maintain minimal coating thickness to prevent thread interference.
For high-risk structural applications such as wind turbine foundations and heavy transport systems, VLC is testing fasteners embedded with localized micro-strain gauges and RFID transmitters. These allow operators to scan components post-assembly to get instant, non-destructive clamp load and tension readings.
We are actively developing proprietary heat treatment schedules for lightweight titanium-aluminum fast alloy bolts and silicon-bronze marine fasteners. These new alloy combinations reduce total structural weight while retaining high shear yield points required for next-gen electric vehicle chassis.
Standard fasteners fall short in high-stress, specialized operating conditions. VLC engineers cross-industry custom fastener kits designed specifically for the unique demands of global industrial sectors.

Operating a facility with an annual output exceeding 10,000 tons requires more than basic machinery. VLC's manufacturing infrastructure is integrated with an advanced Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and ERP backend, bridging the gap between raw wire rod procurement and final custom fastener packaging.
By implementing a highly digitized cold heading environment, we achieve:
✓ Real-time metallurgical tracking: Every batch of raw steel is mapped back to its original steel mill heat number.
✓ Automated scrap reduction: Multi-stage cold heading sensors detect tooling wear before parts slip out of dimensional tolerance.
✓ Predictive scheduling: Integrated production queues minimize downtime when changing dies from heavy metric structural hex bolts to micro-CNC screw components.
For global procurement managers, this translates to stable lead times, complete product traceability, and a highly resilient supplier model that shields your supply chain from sudden market disruptions.
Navigating international supply lines requires strict adherence to regional regulatory policies. VLC supports purchasing organizations by aligning products and processes with international compliance metrics.
Every shipment of OEM/ODM fastener kits complies with RoHS, REACH, and California Proposition 65 directives. Full material declarations and Mill Test Reports (EN 10204 3.1) are standard deliverables, ensuring seamless customs clearance and hassle-free audits.
We support lean assembly systems with specialized hardware packaging. Fasteners are sorted, bagged, barcoded, and packed into pre-labeled manufacturing kits. This reduces assembly errors and speeds up handling at your assembly line.
VLC maintains logistics partnerships that span ocean freight, air transport, and multi-modal inland container routing. We offer tailored delivery models, including FOB, CIF, DDP, and localized consignment stock setups to minimize your inventory holding costs.
Clear technical answers to help engineering and procurement professionals make informed fastening decisions.
For fasteners graded 10.9, 12.9, or high-tensile structural bolts, hydrogen embrittlement is a serious concern, especially after acid pickling. VLC strictly implements post-plating baking processes (typically at 200°C to 220°C for 4 to 8 hours depending on dimensions) within a short window after electroplating to release any trapped hydrogen gas. We also use mechanical galvanizing or non-acid zinc flake coatings (like Geomet) to bypass acid pickling entirely for vulnerable fasteners.
We carry extensive inventories of marine-grade 316 and 304 Stainless Steel, Silicon Bronze (specifically C65100 alloy), and brass alloys (H62, H68, C27200). For extreme offshore chemical resistance, we handle custom orders utilizing duplex and super-duplex stainless steels (e.g., UNS S32205/S31803) which offer superior yield strengths and high resistance to stress corrosion cracking.
Our manufacturing accommodates thread lengths from 5mm up to 3000mm, and thread diameters from M2 up to M100. Our machining shop produces custom head styles (tamper-resistant, countersunk flange, low-profile socket), proprietary thread designs (such as self-locking thread shapes), and custom structural collars. Simply supply a 2D/3D CAD drawing, and we can generate production prototypes in as fast as 7 working days.
We operate an in-house quality assurance center. Our validation protocols include coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for layout verification, optical sorting machines for thread integrity, Charpy impact testing rigs, tensile testing up to 1000kN, and salt spray testing rooms. For critical applications, we can arrange third-party verification through SGS, TÜV, or Lloyd's Register.
