It has certain strength and toughness and relatively low cost. It is widely used in the production of screw piles for general construction and civil engineering projects. After hot-dip galvanizing treatment, its corrosion resistance is significantly improved, and it can effectively prevent rusting in ordinary environments and extend the service life of the piles.
Compared with Q235 steel, Q345 steel has higher strength and better comprehensive mechanical properties. It is suitable for engineering projects with higher requirements for load-bearing capacity, such as industrial plants, large billboards, and wind turbine foundations. It can also be subjected to hot-dip galvanizing or other anti-corrosion treatments to enhance its corrosion resistance in harsh environments.
